Joining the British Astronomical Society is an interesting step, it is about sharing with people who flow on the same wavelength as us, definitely a special way to contemplate space.
Today, Asgardia’s Chair of Parliament, Lembit Opik, will be giving a public lecture at the British Interplanetary Society (BIS).
Mr. Opik will be delivering this talk with an in-person audience at the BIS headquarters in London, UK. The event will also be live-streamed. BIS normally requires all those who want to participate in a lecture, either to attend in person or online, to register via their website. Although BIS members get free entry, non-members are charged £10.

The BIS is a reputable organization that encourages space exploration and utilization for of all beings. It is an international membership society and registered charity devoted to initiating and disseminating new concepts and technical information about space flight and astronautics. Founded in 1933, BIS is the world’s longest-established organization devoted solely to supporting and promoting the exploration of space and astronautics.
It is only logical for BIS to collaborate with Asgardia which aims to unite people in a transnational, equal and progressive society to build a new home for humanity in space: ‘Asgardia aims to ensure peaceful space exploration, protect its home planet from cosmic threats and lead the development of new Space Law to eliminate militarization of space.
